Corrective | This is a full release. It contains new features, as well as fixes for client-reported and internally found defects. |
---|
Regression: An error in the Maintenance Delivery Vehicle (MDV) that produces incorrect or unexpected behavior causing a supported feature to stop functioning as designed. This includes: - Coding errors that cause a regression
- Documentation or packaging problems that cause a regression
- Errors reported in a new function delivered in a MDV that cause a regression
Incomplete: An error in the MDV has not regressed, but does not work as designed. This includes: - Fixed APARs which did not solve the original problem but did not break anything new
- APARs reporting documentation errors, such as readme errors, that cause problems applying an MDV but do not lead to a regression
Notes:- Regression and incomplete APARs are considered fix-in-error or MDV-in-error
- Definitions above apply only to valid APARs that result in product fixes (APARs returned as working-as-designed are not assessed for being fix-in-error)
- Issues in major releases due to new functionality do not apply in this definition
| There are no known regressions to report. |

By examining your financial metrics on a daily or weekly basis, you will know how you are performing on a more real-time basis and will be able to make adjustments sooner rather than later. https://golhomes7.netlify.app/examples-of-revenue-drivers.html. It is very common to be so caught up with day-to-day operating issues that we don't see what is happening to our organizational performance until after the fact—usually when the financial statements appear or even later. Known Limitations for Functional TestAdobe Flex support- Testing Flex applications is supported only on 32-bit browsers.
- Testing Flex applications is not supported on Mozilla Firefox 17.0 and above or on Google Chrome .
- While taking a data verification point on multiple selected elements of a Flex list control, all the selected values are not picked up.
- Insert Test Object does not work for Flex and SparkFormControl.
- It is not possible to play back actions that are recorded on the vertical scroll bar of a SparkList.
Microsoft Silverlight support:Rational FunctionalTester supports recording Silverlight applications only on 32 bit Internet Explorer. Microsoft .NET 4.5 supportRecording actions on the drop-down list of a RibbonFilterMenu is not supported. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate support- This limitation only applies to 64-bit version of Windows.
- If you face any errors related to the loading of the package while creating a project in Rational Functional Tester, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate Integration, use the following workarounds:
- Download and install any missing dependencies (for example, msvcp80.dll and msvcr80.dll). Then, create a project. For details, see the technote: Rational Functional Tester integration with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 does not work as expected.
PDF 9.0, 10.0 and 11.0 file testing support- When you record on the Reader toolbar buttons in Adobe Reader 10.0 and 11.0, the action is recorded as click(atPoint(x,y)).
- When you record on a PDF file that is opened in a Mozilla Firefox browser, you must first record actions in the browser and then begin the recording on the PDF file.
- Playback fails when only the find() API is used to locate objects. As a workaround, click the captured object first and then play back.
- In Rational Functional Tester Microsoft Studio Integration, the PDF crashes during the playback, following a few clicks.
Other limitations and workarounds- To enable Google Chrome for testing, the extension must be installed from the Chrome Web Store. For more information, see technote 1699063.
- An Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE) must be installed and enabled for testing Google Chrome with Rational Functional Tester. For more information, see technote 1973262.
- For improving the performance of Rational Functional Tester with the Mozilla Firefox browser, see technote 1995375.
- Clearcase integration is only supported with a 32-bit installation of Rational Functional Tester.
- For testing 32 bit applications on Linux, RFT must be installed with 32-bit architecture.
- For testing 64 bit applications on Linux, RFT must be installed with 64-bit architecture.
Known Limitations for Web UI Test- If you install Rational Functional Tester on Macintosh OS, the IBM Rational Quality Manager and IBM Rational Team Concert Jazz clients are not available with the installer. To use the Jazz clients on Macintosh, you must download the P2 update site compressed files from www.jazz.net and install them using the native Eclipse client.
- Ability to initiate Web UI tests from IBM UrbanCode Deploy is supported only for Microsoft Windows and Linux computers. The feature is not supported on Macintosh computers.
- The following actions are not supported in both Web UI recording and playback:
- Shortcut keyboard keys.
- Scroll bar action in the web browser.
- Context menu action.
- Native browser dialog boxes.
- The following actions are not supported in Web UI recording, but you can add them manually in the test editor for a successful playback:
- Back and Forward browser navigation action.
- Mouse hover action.
- Playback is not supported on a browser window that is launched with the showModalDialog API.
- Sometimes the playback of a multiwindow test fails to execute on Internet Explorer. This limitation is observed primarily after you switch from the second window to the first and click a link in the first window.
- Sometimes the playback on Internet Explorer shows an Internal Error. The Problem Determination log in Eclipse has references to 'Unable to get browser.'
- Sometimes the application under test becomes unresponsive during record/playback time. This happens primarily if the application refreshes regularly using Ajax requests.
- The Web UI extension is not supported on a Turkish Macintosh computer.
- In the Apple Safari browser version earlier than 10, recording and playback for multiple windows is not supported.
- Using multiple monitors with workbench running on one monitor and browser on another for an extended view is not supported.
- Due to a limitation in the Selenium web driver, the Web UI extension does not support JavaScript alerts in the Apple Safari web browser.
- Due to a limitation in the Selenium web driver, when you play back a test on Internet Explorer and the test includes JavaScript pop-up dialogs, the play back fails.
- When the Chrome browser starts to record a test, the browser prompts a dialog box to disable the Developer mode extensions. You must click 'Cancel' to proceed with the recording.
- When Google Chrome is not installed by the user with administrator privileges at the default location, recording and playback of the Web UI tests fail.
- If you ran the test scripts in Internet Explorer, Edge or Safari, the statistical reports will show a zero value for the On App time and Net Server Time. This is because these browsers are yet to support the On App time and Net Server Time. The time values are shown correctly in Firefox and Chrome browsers.
- Tests running for long durations on Firefox tends to consume lot of memory. Depending on the memory available on the computer, the playback might fail after a couple of hours.
- Running tests with Chrome while logged in as root on Linux computers is not supported
- Tests with steps to handle alert, confirm, or prompt JavaScript dialog boxes hang when you run them on the Internet Explorer browser.
- Limitations when running Web UI tests on the Internet Explorer browser with the Capture browser page screenshots option:
- If the browser is minimized during playback, no screenshots are captured.
- If the computer is locked, blank screenshots are captured and the playback performance is impacted.
- If you connect to a remote computer to start the test run from the workbench and the connection is terminated while the test is still running, blank screenshots are captured and playback performance is impacted.
- Limitations when running Web UI tests on a version prior to Microsoft Edge 14.14393 and Microsoft WebDriver 3.14393:
- You can play back Web UI tests on Edge browser, but recording is not supported.

- Limitations when recording XPath user-defined action:
- The control is not highlighted in the recorded screen capture.
- XPath can accept 'equals to' value only, no other values, nor regular expressions.
- InputKey and pressKey non-native actions are not supported on Firefox and Mac OS.
- Some navigation actions are not supported on Chrome in headless mode: Maximize, Restore, Close, Input keys - Native System Input, Press keys - Native System Input.
- Javascript alerts playback not supported on Chrome in headless mode.
- For a test with a 'go back' action played back on Firefox browser, the action recorded on Iframe/frame samples takes 300 seconds, and the log reports time out failure.
